The short version
Free POS System is free to use. We keep the lights on through referral partnerships. When a link on this site sends you to a partner and you sign up, that partner may pay us. Links like that are marked as sponsored in our code, and we say so on the page.
Getting paid by a partner doesn't change what we tell you. If a free plan isn't right for your business, we'll say that too.

Free POS System is operated by POSUSA, an authorized Square reseller. When you create a Square account through a link on this site, Square may pay POSUSA compensation, including ongoing payments based on the card payments your business processes with Square.
That money comes from Square, not from you. You pay Square's normal published rates either way, and we don't add any fee on top. We aren't Square, we don't run your account, and Square doesn't review or approve what we write here.
